Hi,

Sorry for my writing in English. I understand German, I just can't write it... :roll:

I’ve been having some electrical problems (alarm and central locking system). I already checked out the comfort control module under the seat, but is is fine.

I’ve been looking at the fuses, and found out that it is fuse nr 14 (little 10A) that’s causing all my worries. This seems to be controlling the power windows and remote locking control.

Does anyone know what else it should control. Does somebody have the electrical layout concerning this nr 14?

Please try to descripe your electrical problem a bit closer, especially how it occurs...

Well:
alarm goes of without obvious reason
doors sometimes lock unwanted

I think it might be in the door lock mechanism as described here:

BUT

I don't have any problems with the interior lights
I don't have the "door open" sign

I'm confused...

I'm willing to get a look at that door loch mechanism, but it is a lot of work and there's na garantuee the problem is reaaly there...

so, thanks in advance for any help!


PS: for my previous car I had all that data on a CD-rom, but not for the passat. and there is no VAG-Com in the area... :cry:

fuse 6, 14 nd 38 seem to control the CCM (power widows, central locking,...), but i is only the 14 causing problem...
